While there’s been incremental progress in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, there is still no standard screening test, making early detection extremely difficult. The survival rate is just 13% in the U.S., the lowest among major cancers, with 75% of patients diagnosed at stage III or later, when treatment options are limited.
