Students from low-income communities are more than twice as likely to lack a mentor and 40% more likely to experience chronic stress or mental health challenges. At the same time, only half of high schools offer comprehensive health education. Today’s charities provide mentoring and peer-led programs that help students overcome barriers and thrive.
