Ending College Student Hunger
A college campus might look like a place of equal opportunity—communal dorms, shared dining halls, and similar course loads. But 1 in 3 college students faces food insecurity. Today’s students look very different from what we once knew: 1 in 5 is parenting, 80% are working, and more than half are the first in their families to attend college. The stigma around being low-income also keeps students from seeking help. Let’s help!

Swipe Out Hunger: Grants
Provides grants to colleges to strengthen their food security programs—from expanding their food pantries to offering meal plan scholarships to students in need.

Swipe Out Hunger: Student Leadership
Brings together students to share their experiences, learn what it takes to fight college student hunger, and strengthen programs, with each receiving a $500 stipend.
